(3) Power Transmission Unit: Consisting of a motor, a speed reducer (cycloidal pin-wheel reducer), sprockets, bearing housings, and the main shaft, this unit provides power to the turning drum. The motor transmits power directly to the cycloidal pin-wheel reducer, which then transfers it to the turning drum via the sprocket drive. The system typically uses a variable-frequency motor with an IP55 or higher protection rating; this allows for soft starting to protect the gears and enables rotational speed adjustment based on material resistance. A centralized control cabinet manages operations, offering both manual and automatic control functions.
(4) Lifting Mechanism: Composed of a winch, couplings, drive shafts, and bearing housings; some models are equipped with a hydraulic lifting system (including a hydraulic pump station, solenoid valve assembly, hydraulic hoses, and hydraulic cylinders). The lifting mechanism adjusts the operating depth of the turning drum to accommodate varying material pile heights across different stages of fermentation. (V) Transfer Cart (Optional): Composed of a travel motor, drive gears, a drive shaft, travel wheels, and other components, it serves as a temporary transport vehicle for moving the windrow turner between fermentation channels. When used in conjunction with a transfer carriage, it enables a single machine to operate across multiple channels.

Shifting and Fermentation: The mixing paddles on the drum are arranged in a spiral pattern, allowing the material to be pushed forward by 0.2 to 1 meter during the turning process. As the equipment operates back and forth, the material gradually moves from the inlet end of the fermentation tank to the discharge end, completing a continuous aerobic fermentation cycle. This entire process accelerates the decomposition of organic matter and reduces moisture content while preventing localized material spoilage.
