The powder fertilizer packaging machine is an automated quantitative packaging equipment specifically designed for packaging powdered materials in the fertilizer, chemical, food, feed, and pharmaceutical industries. This equipment uses electronic weighing principles to weigh and package materials, capable of metering and filling 5-50 kg of powdered fertilizer. The unit mainly consists of four parts: an automatic weighing and packaging machine, a conveying device, a sewing device, and a feeding machine. Equipment Structure
The powdered fertilizer packaging machine adopts a modular integrated design, and the whole machine is mainly composed of the following core components:
(I) Material Storage and Feeding System: This includes a hopper and a feeding device. The hopper is used for temporary storage of powdered fertilizer to be packaged. The feeding device usually adopts a screw feeding method. Some models are equipped with a coarse and fine double screw structure. The coarse screw is responsible for rapid feeding, and the fine screw is responsible for precise metering. Through a three-speed screw feeding method (fast, medium, and slow), the metering accuracy and packaging speed are effectively improved. Some high-end models are equipped with anti-bridging technology, which can effectively prevent material from clumping and creating gaps during screw feeding.
(II) Weighing and Metering System: This is the core accuracy-ensuring component of the equipment, consisting of a weighing sensor, weighing hopper, weighing instrument, and PLC controller. The weighing sensor adopts an independent suspension installation method, ensuring stable signal transmission and weighing accuracy. The weighing control system is designed according to IP54 (dustproof and waterproof) requirements, adapting to the harsh environment of fertilizer packaging workshops. The metering accuracy can reach ±0.2%. (III) Bag Clamping and Filling System: Includes a bag clamping mechanism and a feeding device. After manual bagging, the bag clamping mechanism automatically clamps the bag opening. The feeding device fills the bag with the weighed material. The bag clamping mechanism is rationally designed and can effectively solve the problems of powder spillage and bag overturning that occur when pneumatic grippers open the bag in similar products.
(IV) Conveying and Sealing System: Includes a belt conveyor and a sealing device. After filling, the packaged bags are conveyed to the sealing station. Depending on the packaging bag material and user requirements, heat-sealed inner bags or sewn outer bags can be used to complete the sealing.
(V) Electrical Control System: Adopts PLC control technology, which is easy to operate. The system can automatically store shift production, daily production, and cumulative production. It has functions such as over-tolerance alarm, automatic error correction, automatic zeroing, and anti-interference.
Application range of equipment
The application areas of powder fertilizer packaging machines focus on the fertilizer and chemical industries. In fertilizer production, they are suitable for the automatic quantitative packaging of materials such as ammonium sulfate, ammonium bicarbonate crystals, phosphate fertilizers, organic fertilizers, compound fertilizers, and powder fertilizers. Types of available raw materials
The powdered fertilizer packaging machine can handle a wide variety of raw materials. Chemical fertilizers include: ammonium sulfate, ammonium bicarbonate, phosphate fertilizer, potash fertilizer, compound fertilizer, organic fertilizer, blended fertilizer, and water-soluble fertilizer powder. Chemicals include: chemical raw materials, additives, and pesticide powders. The equipment is suitable for quantitative packaging of powdered, granular mixtures, and flake materials. It is particularly suitable for powdered fertilizers and chemical products with low viscosity.
Working principle of the equipment
The working principle of the powdered fertilizer packaging machine is based on the collaborative mechanism of electronic weighing and PLC automatic control. Its workflow is as follows:
Feeding StageMaterial is conveyed from the hopper to the lower inlet via a screw feeder. A three-speed feeding method is adopted: fast feeding initially to shorten the packaging cycle, switching to medium speed when approaching the target value, and switching to slow speed for precision feeding when approaching the set weight. This graded feeding method effectively improves metering accuracy and packaging speed.
Weighing Stage:Material enters the weighing hopper, and the weighing sensor monitors the weight change in real time. The sensor signal is processed by the weighing instrument and transmitted to the PLC controller. When the set weight is reached, the PLC issues a stop feeding signal.
Filling and Sealing Stage:After weighing, the bottom gate of the hopper opens, and material is filled into the bag through the lower inlet. The bag clamping mechanism keeps the bag opening tightly clamped during the filling process. After filling, the packaging bag is conveyed to the sealing station by a conveyor. The sealing method can be heat sealing or sewing, depending on the packaging bag material.
Equipment operation method
(I) Pre-start Preparation: Check for loose screws in all parts. Check if the weighing sensor is installed horizontally and the wiring is secure. Check the hopper, conveying pipes, and discharge port for damage or looseness, and ensure the seals are intact. Connect the power and air supply, and test run the machine to observe for any abnormal noises from the motor and screw conveyor.
(II) Parameter Setting: Set the packaging weight and allowable error range through the human-machine interface or control panel. The system can store more than 20 formulas, enabling rapid switching between different product specifications.
(III) Operation: Manually place the packaging bag onto the discharge port. The bag clamping mechanism automatically clamps the bag opening. After startup, the system automatically completes the metering, filling, bag dropping, and conveying processes. During operation, monitor the weighing data in real time to ensure it is stable.
(IV) Shutdown Operation: After completing the packaging task, first shut down the feeding system, and then disconnect the power and air supply after the material has been emptied. Maintain accurate equipment usage and maintenance records and complete shift handover procedures.
Equipment maintenance methods
(I) Daily Maintenance: After each shift, use compressed air to blow away residual powder from the inside of the equipment (avoid directly blowing onto the sensors), the inner wall of the hopper, and the weighing platform. Clean any adhering powder from the discharge port and the spiral blades to prevent blockages. Check the seals for damage. Regularly clean the dust inside the electrical control box to prevent malfunctions such as poor contact.
(II) Periodic Maintenance: Lubricate the rotating parts such as motor bearings, conveyor belt rollers, and spiral shaft coupling with high-temperature resistant, dust-proof lithium-based grease once a week. Calibrate the weighing system monthly using standard weights and adjust the sensor sensitivity. Check the motor insulation and inverter parameters for normal operation. Newly installed machinery must undergo inspection, tightening, lubrication, and maintenance of transmission and moving parts within one week of use; thereafter, monthly inspection and maintenance are mandatory.
(III) Electrical Maintenance: Check for loose or aged wiring terminals. Test the sensitivity of the emergency stop button and photoelectric sensor. Keep the inside of the electrical control box and wiring terminals clean to prevent electrical malfunctions.
