• Smooth, Low-Dust Granules: Granules produced by the disc granulator have a smooth surface and high roundness, providing a comfortable feel for cats' paws. Simultaneously, the granules have good strength, are less prone to breakage during transportation, and effectively control cat litter dust.
• Precise and Controllable Particle Size: By adjusting the disc angle, rotation speed, and scraper position, the particle size can be flexibly controlled within the commonly used cat litter particle size range of 2–5 mm, resulting in high product uniformity.
Production and Operation Advantages
• Strong Raw Material Adaptability: It has good tolerance for high moisture content (20%–30%) and sticky materials (such as tofu cat litter raw materials), allowing for room-temperature granulation without extreme drying pretreatment.
• Low investment threshold: The equipment has a simple structure, and its construction and maintenance costs are significantly lower than those of roller or extrusion granulators, making it suitable for small to medium-sized cat litter plants.
• Visual and easy to control: The open disc structure allows operators to visually monitor the pelleting process and easily adjust process parameters manually. Pelletization rate can typically reach over 90%.
