The half-wet material crusher is the key link between fermentation and granulation. This equipment adopts a two-stage rotor series operation structure design—the material first enters the upper rotor crushing zone, where it is initially crushed into fine particles by the impact of high-speed rotating hammers; it is then thrown into the lower rotor crushing zone for further fine crushing, while the material particles collide and grind against each other at high speed within the inner cavity, achieving an excellent "hammer-to-material, material-to-material" effect. The half-wet material crusher has an extremely wide adaptability range for the moisture content of bio-fermented organic fertilizer materials, allowing values from 25% to 55%. Unlike conventional crushing equipment, this machine is not designed with a screen or sieve bottom, fundamentally solving the industry problems of wet material clogging, sticking to the walls, and poor discharge.
In the fermentation pretreatment stage, the double-screws compost turner plays a crucial role in providing sufficient oxygen for aerobic fermentation. This equipment adopts a double-screws shaft counter-rotating structure, with blades penetrating deep into the material layer, turning the oxygen-deficient cold material at the bottom to the surface and the material at the top to the bottom, simultaneously achieving material crushing and uniform mixing. The double-screws compost turner can turn to a depth of up to 1.8 meters and a span of 6 to 12 meters, significantly improving the space utilization of the fermentation workshop. Compared to ordinary single-screws compost turners, its hourly turning capacity can reach 15 to 40 tons, increasing efficiency by more than 60%. Under the powerful stirring of the double screws, the temperature of the compost pile is maintained within the ideal fermentation range of 55-70℃, shortening the fermentation cycle from the traditional 60-90 days to 15-25 days, and increasing the nitrogen retention rate to over 85%.
After crushing and fermentation, the material enters the granulation stage. The double-roller extrusion granulator (also known as a fertilizer roller press granulator) represents a mature technology for dry granulation. The core principle of the double-roller extrusion granulator is: dry material agglomerates into dense, hard cakes under high pressure (extrusion process), and the cakes are then crushed and screened to become granules (granulation process). The core working component of this equipment is a pair of high-strength pressure rollers rotating in opposite directions. Powdered material is fed into the gap between the two rollers by a quantitative feeder and compressed into shape under high pressure of 50-150 MPa. The extrusion process serves two purposes: first, it removes air between the particles; second, it brings the particle spacing close enough to generate intermolecular forces such as van der Waals forces, adsorption forces, crystal bridges, and intercalation. The roller extrusion granulator adopts a non-drying, room-temperature process, requiring no water addition or heating throughout the entire process. Compared to traditional wet granulation, the roller extrusion granulation production line eliminates the drying and cooling processes, resulting in lower equipment investment and significantly reduced energy consumption.
