Requirements for Operators of Organic Fertilizer Ball Shaping Machines

2026/04/17

Operators of organic fertilizer shaping machines must undergo professional equipment operation and safety training and pass the assessment before being allowed to work. Unlicensed or inexperienced personnel are strictly prohibited from operating the equipment. Before starting work, operators must be familiar with the equipment structure, working principle, operating procedures, and common troubleshooting methods. They must also be familiar with the organic fertilizer production process and material characteristics, and be able to adjust equipment parameters appropriately based on pellet forming conditions.

Before operation, a comprehensive inspection of the equipment is required. Check that the pelletizing cylinder, liners, and transmission components are intact and secure; that bearing lubrication is adequate; that belt tension is appropriate; and that electrical wiring, emergency stop switches, and grounding devices are functioning correctly. After confirming there are no abnormalities, perform a no-load test run. Observe the equipment for vibration, abnormal noise, and overheating before formally feeding materials.

During operation, strictly follow the start-up and shutdown sequence. Start the subsequent auxiliary equipment first, then start the pelletizing machine, and finally feed materials evenly. To stop, reverse the operation sequence. Feeding must be continuous and uniform, avoiding overloading, material interruption, or the introduction of hard foreign objects such as stones or metal to prevent equipment damage and pellet breakage. During operation, constantly observe the roundness and uniformity of the particles, and adjust the speed and tilt angle in a timely manner. Pay attention to the equipment's noise and temperature. If abnormal vibration, material blockage, or unusual noises occur, immediately press the emergency stop button and disconnect the power supply before troubleshooting. Never reach into the running equipment to clean or repair it.

After operation, empty the material before stopping the machine, disconnect the main power supply, and promptly clean any remaining material and dust from the drum to prevent clumping and affecting future use. Daily lubrication and maintenance of the equipment must be performed as required, and operating, maintenance, and malfunction records must be kept. Operators must have a strong sense of responsibility, strictly adhere to safety regulations, and are strictly prohibited from operating in violation of regulations. They must also cooperate well with personnel in upstream and downstream processes to ensure the stable and safe operation of the bio-organic fertilizer production lines.
