What to Pay Attention to When Operating a Half-Wet Material Crusher

2025/12/25

When operating a half-wet material crusher, attention should be paid to three key aspects: material pretreatment, equipment operation specifications, and safety maintenance.  Specific precautions are as follows:

1. Material Control: Strictly control the moisture content of the feed material within the equipment's specified range (usually 20% - 50%) to prevent material clumping and clogging due to excessive moisture; simultaneously, remove metal, stones, and other hard impurities from the material to prevent damage to the blades and screens.

2. Operation Specifications: Before starting, check the tightness of all components, the tension of the belts, and the lubrication status. After confirming everything is in order, start the machine without load. Once the equipment is running stably, feed the material evenly. Overloading and starting with material already in the machine are strictly prohibited; the feeding speed should be stable to avoid equipment vibration or clogging caused by sudden changes in speed.

3. Safety Protection: During operation, operators must wear protective glasses, dust masks, and other personal protective equipment, and are strictly prohibited from approaching the rotating parts of the fertilizer making machine; if any abnormal noise or severe vibration occurs during operation, immediately stop the machine and cut off the power.  Troubleshoot the problem only after the machine has completely stopped, and do not operate the machine with a fault.

4. Maintenance and Cleaning: After operation, immediately cut off the power and clean the remaining material in the chamber to prevent mold and clumping that could affect future use; regularly check the wear of the blades and sharpen or replace them as needed to ensure crushing efficiency and effectiveness.
