Small-Scale (1–2 t/h) Dual-Purpose Organic Fertilizer Production Line Project in Ipoh, Malaysia

2026-08-11

On April 11, 2025, a small-scale organic fertilizer production line with a capacity of 1–2 tons per hour was successfully assembled on-site in Ipoh, Malaysia. Designed to produce both powdered and granular organic fertilizers, the line effectively meets the needs of local plantations and small-to-medium-sized livestock farms for the resource utilization of organic waste, enabling the on-site processing of agricultural, forestry, and livestock waste such as manure, coconut coir, and palm residue.

As shown in the on-site photos, the production line features a streamlined process layout adapted for standard local steel-structure factory buildings. The front section is equipped with a horizontal twin-shaft mixer—complete with a safety platform and maintenance ladder—allowing workers to easily load raw materials and inoculants for thorough mixing. Multiple belt conveyors facilitate automated material transfer, linking the mixer to a vertical crusher that breaks down and refines clumped, composted material. The rear section can be flexibly configured with a flat-die granulator, allowing the client to switch production modes freely; the system can produce powdered organic fertilizer directly or process it further into granules, catering to the specific fertilization needs of orchards, oil palm plantations, and tropical vegetable farms.

The entire line utilizes belt conveyors to link processing stages, minimizing manual material handling and reducing labor intensity. Core equipment is optimized for hot and humid conditions—ideal for Malaysia’s climate—and the compact footprint eliminates the need for extensive civil engineering, keeping initial investment costs manageable and making it an excellent choice for small-to-medium investors in Southeast Asia. Operation is straightforward, enabling local staff to handle daily maintenance and operation independently after brief training.

With Malaysia’s massive palm oil and livestock industries generating significant agricultural and forestry waste requiring safe disposal, this small-scale production line transforms waste materials into high-quality organic fertilizer. The finished product supplies nearby tropical cash crop plantations, reducing reliance on chemical fertilizers and delivering both environmental and economic benefits. We offer customizable complete production lines for powdered and granular organic fertilizers with capacities ranging from 1 to 10 tons per hour. Our equipment configurations are optimized for the voltage and climatic conditions of Southeast Asia, and we provide installation guidance for overseas projects.
