How to Prevent Material Clogging and Blockage in Half-Wet Material Crushers

2025/12/26

To prevent material clogging and blockage in Half-wet material crushers, measures can be taken from three core dimensions: material pretreatment, operational procedures, and equipment maintenance:

1. Strictly control material moisture content: Control the moisture content of the incoming material within the reasonable range specified by the fertilizer production mahcine (usually 20%-50%). If the humidity is too high, dry materials can be added for mixing, or the humidity can be reduced in advance through drying or air-drying.

2. Maintain a uniform and steady feeding rate: Strictly prohibit sudden increases in feeding volume or the inclusion of large pieces of material to avoid instantaneous accumulation and adhesion of excessive material in the crushing chamber; a feeder can be used to achieve quantitative feeding and maintain smooth material flow inside the chamber.

3. Ensure proper equipment cleaning and maintenance: Before operation, check whether there are any residual clogs from the previous operation in the chamber, blades, and screen, and clean them promptly; regularly sharpen or replace dulled blades to ensure efficient cutting and crushing, reducing material adhesion due to insufficient crushing; an anti-stick coating can also be applied to the inner wall of the chamber to reduce the probability of material adhesion.

5. Reasonably control operating time: Avoid prolonged continuous operation that leads to increased chamber temperature, as high temperatures will exacerbate material adhesion. It is recommended to set intermittent shutdown and cleaning times based on material characteristics.
