The difference between drum granulator and disc granulator

The main advantages of the drum granulator are the use of steam heating and humidity regulation, increase the temperature of the granulated material, reduce the granulated water, and reduce the load of the dryer. The granulation rate of the rotating strand granulator can reach 70%, which realizes the automatic removal of scars and tumors. The traditional scraper device is cancelled, the phenomenon of material sticking to the wall is eliminated, and the labor intensity of workers is reduced. The advantages of the transfer granulation machine: by increasing the granulation temperature, increasing the liquid phase in the base material, promoting the material to form a ball under low water content. It has the advantages of easy drying, energy saving and consumption reduction. Disadvantages: When the process conditions are not well controlled, the return material is higher than the disc granulator. Disc granulator adopts arc structure, granulation rate can reach more than 95%. The organic fertilizer disc is equipped with three discharge ports to facilitate intermittent production operations. The reducer and motor of the disc granulator are driven by a flexible belt, which starts smoothly and reduces the impact force. The bottom of the disc is reinforced with multiple radiation steel plates, without anchor bolts, which is durable. The advantages of disc granulator: uniform granulation, less material return, large production capacity. Disadvantages: material pretreatment can not be carried out, dust, smoke pollution is serious.
