As the core equipment for dry granulation, the double roller press granulator is suitable for a wide range of materials, covering three main categories: organic fertilizers, NPK compound fertilizers, and chemical raw materials. The core requirements are that the material is in dry powder form, with a moisture content controlled between 5% and 15%, and possesses a certain degree of plasticity, allowing for shaping without the need for additional binders.
In the field of bio organic fertilizer produciton line, it can extrude materials such as fermented livestock and poultry manure, straw fermentation materials, municipal sludge, traditional Chinese medicine residue, fungal residue, and fermented kitchen waste. These materials need to be pre-processed and crushed to 80-100 mesh, removing stones, metals, and other hard impurities to avoid wear on the roller surface. In the NPK compound fertilizer field, it can directly extrude dry powder mixtures of single fertilizers such as urea, ammonium chloride, potassium sulfate, potassium chloride, monoammonium phosphate, and diammonium phosphate. It can also process compound raw materials with added trace elements such as magnesium, boron, and zinc. The resulting granules have moderate strength, meeting the needs of large-scale fertilization.
In addition, this equipment can also be used for the granulation of chemical salts, feed additives, bentonite, talc powder, and other mineral powder materials, adapting to the granulation needs of different industries. It is particularly important to note that the particle size and moisture content of all materials to be extruded must be strictly controlled. Excessive moisture content can easily cause sticking and clogging of the equipment, while insufficient moisture content makes shaping difficult. At the same time, hard impurities must be thoroughly removed; otherwise, it will significantly shorten the service life of the roller surface and reduce granulation efficiency and particle quality.
