The difference between organic fertilizer and compound fertilizer
The content of nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium in organic fertilizers is very low, mainly providing organic matter and other substances. Its four characteristics are:
First, the organic matter content is high, and there is a significant effect of soil improvement and fertilization;
Second, the nutrients contained in the species are comprehensive, but the content is low and the fertility is small;
Third, the fertilizer supply takes a long time, and the fertilizer efficiency is slow and long-lasting;
Fourth, it can fully fuse with the soil to form an organic complex, so the loss is small and the utilization rate is high.
Compound fertilizer mainly provides carbon, phosphorus, potassium and other elements. The main advantages are high nutrient content, fast fertilizer efficiency, fierceness and fission, which can play a role in quick-acting and improving products. The disadvantage is that it generally does not contain organic matter and can only supply crop nutrients. The effect of improving soil and cultivating soil fertility is small. The effective action time is short and the fertilizer effect cannot be sustained. At the same time, it is easy to volatilize, lose, rinse or be fixed by soil fixation, and the utilization rate is low. Prolonged use can also damage the soil structure and reduce crop quality.
Both compound fertilizer and organic fertilizer have their own advantages and disadvantages. Only the combination of organic fertilizer and chemical fertilizer can combine the advantages of organic fertilizer and inorganic fertilizer, while overcoming the shortcomings of organic fertilizer and compound fertilizer.
